CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

SPECIAL CARE

For regular cleaning of your products, regardless of the material, always use a clean, soft cloth.
To remove stains, we recommend using a cloth slightly dampened in an aqueous solution (water or alcohol) depending on the material. Under no circumstances should surfaces be soaked. Finally, we recommend wiping with a dry cloth, using continuous, gentle movements, to remove any moisture or stains that may exist and restore the uniformity of the finish.
The list of cleaning products to avoid includes: common and instant cleaning detergents, solvents, chlorine or ammonia-based products, restorative oils, acidic or alkaline substances and products suitable for cleaning cookers and ovens.
Dragging furniture, putting excessive weight on it, leaning on doors, drawers or other components are also practices you should avoid. Proximity to air conditioning vents and direct sunlight or excessive draughts are also detrimental to the behaviour of most materials.

FURNITURE

Most of our products are veneered or lacquered, but it is also possible to find complementary materials. If the material you are looking for is not described here, please contact us for more information.

WOOD, LACQUER AND VENEER

Wipe dust off surfaces using a soft cloth, lightly dampened with water to make the dust stick better.

GLASS AND MIRRORS

Use a soft cloth and a neutral glass cleaner;
Spray the cleaner on the cloth, not directly on the glass;
Avoid bleach-based products and the use of rough cloths and sponges;
Avoid leaving the surface wet or with product residues.

FABRICS

Periodically clean the fabrics by vacuuming or using a brush with dense, natural hair to prevent dust from settling;
In the event of liquid spillage, remove the excess with absorbent articles, without rubbing, and dry with a hairdryer (cold air);
Keep products in a dry, well-ventilated place;
Never expose fabrics to direct sunlight for too long;
Do not use chemical products (alkaline or chlorinated);
If necessary, have it cleaned by specialised personnel.

NATURAL AND SYNTHETIC LEATHER

Wipe dust off surfaces using a soft, dry cloth to encourage natural perspiration of the skin/leather;
Avoid direct and prolonged exposure to sunlight and direct sources of heat to preserve the natural colour;
Apply special skin creams regularly (every 6 months);
To remove stains, use a soft cloth dampened in water and neutral soap, rinse and dry immediately;
Avoid abrasive products.

ACCESSORIES AND FITTINGS

To clean the runners, use a dry brush or duster, never water or other liquids;
Only use a cloth dampened with water on the handles;
For aluminium accessories, use a dry cloth or one dampened with water and neutral soap if there are stains.

METALS

Regardless of the finish, metals require care to prevent the formation of oxidisation. Avoid abrasive products and dry surfaces immediately after cleaning.

STAINLESS STEEL, LACQUERED OR EPOXY FINISH

For both polished and brushed finishes, use a clean, soft cloth soaked in alcohol.

CHROME OR COPPER

Clean regularly with a soft cloth soaked in warm soapy water.
